To get a good idea on how we can help you may want to know where to start. Our goal is to give you as much information as possible to make an informed decision about who will custom build or remodel your home. Below are the things we start with.
Stage 1: First Meeting: Our first meeting is to get a sense of what it is you are looking for. We ask as many questions as possible during the first hour or two.
Stage 2: Conceptual Budget: We can then begin a conceptual project plan. This can include, at no charge, some conceptual layouts, a conceptual budget, material specifications and schedule.
Stage 3: Second Meeting: We then sit down to review all of the conceptual ideas and costs. At this stage, we may not yet be at a final cost or design for the project for we let you select much of that and guide us both through these planning stages if you like. This way you have more control over the budget and how the project goes.
Stage 4: Finalize Concept: Once we've determined that were on track conceptually, we can begin finalizing architectural drawings, budgets, material specifications, schedules, etc. in anticipation of starting your project.
Stage 5: Begin Building: Were on our way to permitting with the local city, scheduling our trades and sub-contractors and managing all of the the on-site activities to completion.
Stage 6: On-Site Activities to Completion: As we begin construction, we want want you to be involved at any level you are comfortable with. If it's daily, weekly or bi-weekly meetings on-site and in person to see the progress the better because we feel that the more your involved the better. We will also have specific times that we will require involvement and feedback from you and certainly when we do the final orientation to demonstrate the aspects of your newly designed and constructed project.
